Karim leads the Southeast Asia office of the Global Institute For Tomorrow (GIFT), an independent pan-Asian think tank. GIFT partners with governments and companies to help make sense of the changes shaping markets and policy whilst provoking new thinking on the strategies, behaviours and mindsets required to redesign society in the face of 21st century constraints. Karim has lived in Asia for 20 years and prior to joining GIFT spent a decade in mainland China where he was a partner in a successful food and beverage company. He has an MBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and speaks Mandarin Chinese.
